This text intends to examine how Jorge de Lima in Invenção de Orfeu, in a mythical-poetical onslaught, searches to restore the age of gold in his poem. In this direction, we will study notorious authors of the occidental literary tradition who had worked this subject, establishing a possible dialogue between the poet and this tradition.Downloads
