Abstract

It is intended to show how the problem of natural beauty, a classic theme of aesthetics, can also be approached from the perspective of the philosophy of nature. The exposition is essentially about Kant's "Critique of judgment", pointing to the distance between Kant and Schelling and highlighting the affinities between Kant's aesthetics and the current debate on ecological ethics.
