Abstract

The aim of this text is to analyze studies on radio and sound media from three phases: the recovery of history, consolidation and expansion based on the relationship with contemporary communication technologies. The last 30 years are considered, under the leadership of GP Rádio e Mídia Sonora. The proposed perspective assumes that these three axes define the trajectory of investigations in the area and establish a relevant relationship with the media ecosystem. In the scientific attempt to surround the object, in a dynamic environment of transformation, researchers establish moments of resistance and repositioning of studies.
