Body and event in Perto do coração selvagem, by Clarice Lispector
Abstract
If we consider Clarisse Lispector's writing as a singularity (therefore, as a multiplicity), we can think of it through a universe of concepts. We chose two among these – the body and the event – which dialogue with each other and with others, forming a conceptual network, and assist us in our reading of Near to the Wild Heart . Therefore, we compose our writing through three movements: the power of events, the denial/affirmation of the perfect animal, and a cartography of sensations. Thus, we believe it is possible to approach Clarice's writing and, in particular, to glimpse how the body is endlessly crossed by becomings and desires that engender its trajectories.
