Abstract
The purpose of this study is limited in an attempt to delineate what Theodor Adorno (1903-1969) understand by expressions "particular" and "universal", positioning them as the foundation from which stand the formulations of the German philosopher about the role of denial under a negative dialectic as opposed to the idealist dialectics of Hegel. Fundamentally, we seek to demonstrate the critical positioning of Adorno opposite the conceptual synthesis of idealist dialectics, emphasizing the negation of dialectics as: driving force and feature which imposes resistance reduction of the not identical to the identity.
