Abstract
This paper presents some of the results of a research that has tried to identify some of the characteristic beliefs of translators who are attending a course in Translation in a Brazilian public university. It aims to investigate the possible relations between beliefs and the specific formation that these learners have received, based on some theories and concepts proposed by the Applied Linguistics specialized literature on Second Language Teaching and on Translation.Downloads
