Resumo
Demonstro como a crítica hegeliana ao ideal plástico, na escultura grega, fornece um modelo negativo para a agência corporificada. Antes de apontar uma rejeição à corporeidade, Hegel condena a escultura grega por sua incapacidade para expressar o corpo humano em sua efetividade – sua capacidade para agir. Assim, situo a posição hegeliana acerca da “bela harmonia” grega, na qual a escultura incorporaria as limitações e contradições daquela forma de vida. Isso me permitirá ler a maneira distinta como a plasticidade será incorporada nas individualidades humanas e divinas enquanto diagnóstico de época. Finalizo mostrando como Hegel nem renega a natureza humana, nem abandona a condição corporificada do espírito, e sim encontra a verdade da corporeidade na atividade orgânica de agentes singulares.
