After its ninth issue it became an electronic journal, hosted in a website with digital versions of all the issues printed by then. In 2017 , its editorial staff began to make use of the facilities and functionalities of the Electronic System for Publishing Journals (SEER, in its Portuguese acronym). The transition to the international electronic publishing management system will allow Artefilosofia to strengthen the recognition and prestige that the journal has in the field of Aesthetics and Philosophy of Art. Since 2021, the journal adopts the rolling pass model, intertwining an annual number with papers published throughout the year with a specific number for dossiers. In the 2017-2020 quadrienium, the journal has obtained an A3.
