Abstract

The objective of this article is to make public some refl ections about the research Histories and Songs of Play and Players, and also to indicate a kind of view that was constructed in the listening of the memory of these games and lives. It was this view that permitted us to recognize a little of the history of our city. The study indicated some cultural roots of Belo Horizonte and shad light in the nature of the games that were played in the fi rst part of the XX century, in a city that was beginning its own history.
