IA, para quê te quero?
Sobre agência e responsabilidade em tempos tecnológicos
Resumen
Este artigo investiga a possibilidade de atribuição de agência moral à Inteligência Artificial (IA). No primeiro movimento, discute-se a possibilidade de agência na IA e, se tivesse, que agência será essa. No segundo, analisa-se a dificuldade de responsabilização diante de sistemas autônomos e opacos. No terceiro, coloca-se em diálogo as propostas de David Gunkel e Mark Coeckelbergh. O primeiro defende a paciência moral, que desloca o foco da capacidade de agir para a possibilidade de ser afetado. Enquanto e segundo desenvolve a abordagem socio-relacional, na qual o status moral é atribuído nas relações que estabelecemos com as IAs. Conclui-se que a abordagem de Coeckelbergh é mais promissora para pensar a responsabilidade ética com a IA, pois a responsabilidade exige transparência e capacidade de resposta.
