Anti-plagiarism
REVEMOP uses reliable plagiarism detection software (e.g., iThenticate). Manuscripts containing plagiarism will be promptly rejected and archived. All texts submitted to REVEMOP will be analyzed using this software, with the goal of identifying cases of plagiarism and/or self-plagiarism. If plagiarism and/or self-plagiarism is detected during the submission process, the journal’s editors will contact the author(s), request clarification, and, if necessary, inform them of the manuscript’s archiving prior to it being sent for peer review. If a manuscript is published and plagiarism and/or self-plagiarism is later identified by readers, authors, or reviewers, and brought to the editors’ attention, REVEMOP will take the appropriate steps: (1) contact the author(s) to inform them of the situation; (2) request clarification regarding the reported issue; (3) after reviewing the response, the editors will make a decision and inform the author(s) about the procedures for retracting the published manuscript.
