Temporary Suspension of New Submissions to Revemop
We inform the academic community of the temporary suspension of the receipt of new submissions to Revemop. This is a carefully considered decision, motivated by the significant volume of manuscripts received in recent months.
This measure aims primarily to ensure the quality and excellence of the editorial process, especially with regard to peer review, the rigorous monitoring of reviewers’ reports, and compliance with the deadlines established by the journal. Our commitment is to ensure that each submitted manuscript receives the attention, scientific rigor, and editorial care that the Mathematics Education community deserves.
Regarding the ongoing editorial workflow
We clarify that all manuscripts already submitted and currently under review will continue to follow the regular editorial workflow, respecting the chronological order of submission and the stages established in the review and editing process. The editorial team of Revemop remains dedicated to ensuring the continuity of the ongoing processes.
Furthermore, it should be noted that the Thematic Section “Didactic Suitability: theoretical, methodological, and practical approaches” will remain open for submissions.
We deeply appreciate the understanding of authors, reviewers, and readers, as well as the trust placed in Revemop as a space for the dissemination and circulation of scientific production in the field of Mathematics Education. The high number of submissions received demonstrates the strengthening of the journal and the relevance of the discussions that have been developed in our field.
The reopening date for new submissions will be duly communicated through the journal’s official channels.
